REVIVAL Device Daemon can be described as the mobile device endpoint of the REVIVAL Mobile Management Suite. It provides means to establish connections to REVIVAL Server and perform tasks initiated by users of the Mobile Manager Suite.

The REVIVAL Device Daemon consists of a set of native components that runs as an integrated part of the operating system. A main component, the engine, provides core services such as session establishment, upload/download of resources, encryption, message-routing and plug-in management. The engine is then extended with features by consuming Plugins that perform more specific tasks. Standard Plugins include Visual Helpdesk, Deployment and Policy Enforcement among others.
