The Institution announces Symbian support
The Institution continues to attract customers and partners with the REVIVAL Mobile Management Suite. Recent partnership agreements with The Phone House, Salesminded and Columbitech have increased market impact significantly. Newly signed customers Bwin Games and Anticimex further establish REVIVAL’s position in the enterprise market.
Today, The Institution announces the release of REVIVAL Mobile Management Suite 2.0 at The Mobile World Congress.
One of the key features of version 2.0 is the support for Symbian Series 60 devices, breaking the barriers set by OMA-DM. REVIVAL’s unique aproach to multi-OS support and open API takes the concept of device management one step further than the competition.
Our approach to device management proves to be very successful, says Martin Schlingmann, technical director at The Institution. The second release of REVIVAL is not only a significant milestone; it also shows that we can add new mobile OS-platforms without compromising the technical quality in our products.
With REVIVAL Mobile Management Suite 2.0 we have also made significant improvements to our REVIVAL SelfService, which gives our customers a much more cost-effective way of handling their device fleet.
REVIVAL SelfService moves management to the end user in the same fashion as internet banking has done, saving valuable time for IT support, as well as the end user and adds new security features to the mobile enterprise infrastructure, says Martin Schlingmann.
Other features in REVIVAL Mobile Management Suite Version 2.0 is scheduled backup, REVIVAL Talk SDK, Improved Policy Enforcements, Active Directory plug-ins and better reporting tools for all users.
